High School Portfolio (I Have a Plan Iowa)


 The following are steps for freshmen to follow when creating a new account for you online portfolio for high school planning and future scholarships.

    1) Click the link above to enter site (I Have a Plan Iowa)

    2) Once on the site, click on 'high school student'

    3) Click on 'create an account' on the right side

    4) Create a username and password; write the username and password in your notebook, must remember for future access.

    5) Click through and set up the security questions

    6) Click on the gray "GUIDEWAYS" box

        Step 1: Complete the interest profiler assessment
        Step 2: Look through the suggested careers and click on 3 separate careers and then click 'add', to add to portfolio
        Step 3: Complete a skills assessment
        Step 4: Build the course plan based on the State of Iowa core requirements
        Step 5: Write a reflection statement about your educational plan
        Step 6: Summarize your steps in a sentence or two
