LUNCHTIME SOLUTIONS
We are excited to welcome Lunchtime Solutions back as our food service management company. They have a proven history of success in schools, and we are confident in having them serve our students now and in the future.  Last year, food service quality was a major topic in our needs assessment survey that we needed to address. We believe Lunchtime Solutions will regain the trust of our students and families.

EXPERIENCED FOOD SERVICE MANAGEMENT COMPANY AWARDED HINTON COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT FOODSERVICE CONTRACT
Exciting changes are coming to Hinton Community School District’s food service program! Lunchtime Solutions, a locally based K-12 food service management company, has once again been awarded the school’s food service contract and will begin their new partnership this fall.
Lunchtime Solutions previously contracted with Hinton Community School District, said Nic Lucart, Area Director for Lunchtime Solutions. “We are very excited to once again serve Hinton students and support this community right in our backyard,” he said.
Based in Dakota Dunes, SD, Lunchtime Solutions professionally manages foodservice operations in more than 50 school districts in the states of Nebraska, South Dakota, Missouri, Minnesota, and Iowa. Launched with a single school district in 1997, the locations served by Lunchtime have grown quickly based on the quality of the foodservice experience provided to students, faculty, and staff, along with the professional food service management services provided to school administration.
“Lunchtime Solutions is proud to have a company culture that focuses on customer success,” Lucart said. “Our main customers are students. We provide healthy and delicious options that students enjoy along with fueling their minds and bodies to boost learning and focus all while providing energy needed to be successful.”
Lunchtime operates all school locations in full compliance with USDA regulations and the National School Lunch Program.
Changes to the food service program this coming school year include 2 daily entrée choices for elementary students, 3 choices for middle school students, and 4 choices for high schoolers. Scratch-made homestyle entrée choices such as goulash, chicken ranch pasta, and spaghetti will be offered as part of the daily offerings, along with other student favorites.
Student lunches include unlimited fruit and vegetable choices from the fruit and vegetable bar. All students will have 6-8 choices of fruits and vegetables each day, and they can go back as many times as they would like to this bar.
“Our teams provide students with top notch quality food choices and ensure students leave with a full stomach, a warm smile, and a kind word,” Lucart said.
Offering locally grown fruits, veggies and meats in school meals is a priority for Lunchtime teams, so Lunchtime’s connections with local growers will benefit Hinton students, Lucart said.
“We are extremely lucky to live in the Midwest where we have access to fresh, locally grown products. We want to partner with growers in the area to provide the freshest and best products to students, all while educating them on where their food comes from and how it gets to their table. Building relationships between local growers, the school, and students is a win-win for everyone,” he said.
