The freshmen did mirror mazes and an eye cone challenge activity when they studied light waves. The class also went outside and traced Jenga shadows to calculate the Earth's rotational speed. They spent one of their last school days creating a weather station diagram.
S'more learning is going to happen next year! The juniors were too busy roasting marshmallows and eating s'mores to get many pictures taken on their last class day.
Boomwhackers - not just for little kids! The physics class had a play-off to end our sound unit.
Due to the weather - the Intermediate School (4-6) track and field day is canceled.

The PK-3 building began the last week of school with a celebration. We celebrated the completion of our first year as a Leader in Me district. The event was led by our amazing current and future Blackhawk Leadership Council (BLC) students, with the help from several talented elementary leaders.
