The Hinton Hope Relay for Life Team will be hosting the annual Coaches vs Cancer event on Tuesday, January 30 at the home basketball game versus Gehlen Catholic. This year’s color is white to support awareness of lung cancer.
The team will be selling short sleeve t-shirts for $10. There will be an extra charge for 2XL/3XL sizes. All orders will need to be turned into Janet in the middle school office by Monday, January 15. If you have a loved one you would like to be in the slideshow, email krista.nelson@hintonschool.com.

6th grade students spent time talking about the benefits and challenges of working in a team and how each member brings different strengths into the group. The lesson ended with a friendly tower building competition.
Congrats to these Hinton Blackhawk Musicians for auditioning and being selected into the Wayne State Honor Choirs! The Mixed and Treble Choirs will be held in February and the Musical Theatre Choir will be held in April. Way to go!

Hey Blackhawk fans! Tuesday Dec 19th will be the Silent Night basketball game. Just a reminder, during the boys game we silently cheer to start the game and then go crazy loud at the 10th point. Fans are encouraged to wear their favorite ugly Christmas sweater or your most creative Christmas outfit. The After Prom Committee will also be sponsoring halftime shooting contests for $1 per shot at a chance to win a crumbl cookie.
