We are very excited to announce we will have four Hinton FFA members who will be receiving their Iowa FFA Degrees at State FFA Convention in April! The Iowa FFA Degree is the highest honor the State FFA Association can bestow upon one of its members. Congratulations all!

Today, nine Hinton FFA members were in attendance at the She Grows Women in Agriculture Conference. The conference was held at Morningside University in collaboration with Iowa State University Extension. The students listened to keynote speakers presenting topics on inspiring women in agriculture, building rural communities, and rural health and wellness. Additionally, they heard from a panel of female agriculture entrepreneurs and had an opportunity to network. Lastly, the students were able to tour Morningside's greenhouse to see how the lettuce and tilapia are grown for the campus cafeteria.

Mr. Zyzda’s Anatomy/Physiology & Medical Intervention classes got to experience a health science day at Briar Cliff and a Human Anatomy tour at USD this past month. The students explored different career paths and were hands on with a cadaver!
