If you are coming to tonight's home Football game, if you have a Hinton activity pass- please stop and show our ticket takers as you come into Held Sports Complex. Also, if you are headed to Unity for tomorrow's Volleyball Tourney- to get into the game you will need to buy a ticket on Bound or use a card at the gate. They will not be taking cash. Have a safe weekend and GO BLACKHAWKS!

Senior Parents~ The 2024-2025 Yearbook is already in full swing. There will be a letter mailed home explaining a few of these deadlines to you. But if you have not done so already, be thinking about senior pictures for your soon-to-be graduate, as well as digging out a baby photo for the Yearbook!
The 2023-2024 Yearbooks have arrived and will be distributed to those who ordered in the next few days! The 2024 graduates that ordered may pick theirs up at the High School office. Please reach out to Mrs. Jurgensmeier with any questions.
Ray's Midbell Music will be in the band room TOMORROW NIGHT, August 27th, from 6 to 7 PM to discuss renting instruments for band! This meeting is aimed at 5th graders joining band and their parents. If you already have an instrument, this meeting is not required.

First practice for 7th/8th grade girls volleyball players is Monday, August 26th. Please change and get ready at the high school, then head down to the elementary gym after busses leave. Practice will be 3:40-5:00.

Another Iowa State Fair is in the books for these hard working FFA members! They dedicate so much of their time to prepare their animals for show day and we are so excited to showcase their accomplishments.
Tate Linton has been exhibiting FFA swine since his freshman year of high school and this was his last FFA show. This year, Tate exhibited his crossbred market barrows and was the Division 1 Champion; Division 2 Reserve Champion; Division 6 Champion; and received 6th place overall in the final drive!
Alayna McCarthy exhibited three lambs. In class 54H of Black Face Commercial Ewes, she was the Reserve Champion and received 5th place overall in the final drive!
