
Students in Mr. Sargent's Entrepreneurship class recently completed their Food Truck Project. Today they took a trip to Smash Food Trailer in Sioux City and were shown the ins and outs of a Food Truck operation. Chef Clay spoke with the student's about what it's like to be an entrepreneur and benefits of owning your own business. Smash Food Trailer provided the students with lunch while they were there. Thanks Smash Food Truck and Chef Clay for an amazing experience!

Friday was "Drive Your Tractor to School Day"! It was very cool to see the tractors in the parking lot this morning and to create awareness for agriculture in our community.




This is a reminder that the 7th Annual FFA Awards Banquet is this Sunday, May 7th. The meal will be served at 6:30pm with awards to follow at 7pm. The event will take place in the school's multi-purpose room.

The JH students enjoyed learning about the Holocaust at the Sioux City Tolerance performance on Wednesday, April 26 at the Sioux City Orpheum.

Our 4th grade students had fun learning about band today with Ms. Weyhrich! She and some of our talented Hinton band members talked about their instruments and why it is so fun to be a part of the band. Next week 4th graders will get the chance to explore the instruments and see what they might like to play in 5th grade. Mark your calendars for a parent meeting on May 22 at 6:30 for parents of potential band students.






HS track meet for 4-20-23 has been cancelled.

Hinton BOYS golf meet 4-20-22 vs Westwood is cancelled due to the weather conditions.

These 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students represented Hinton yesterday at the Northwest Iowa ACDA Honor Choir in Sioux Center. They did a great job and performed an excellent concert! Students who participated were: Averie Vondrak, Lyla Wood, Avery Soroka, Stella Riediger, Lily Korvana, Chloey Geddes, Alex Leitru, Collen Turner, Reagan Hensley, Grant Sitzmann, and Maddox Hoppe.
