Due to the weather forecast the War Eagle Conference HS track meet at Hinton has been ppd from Monday May 2 to Tuesday May 3. Field events start at 4 with first running event at 4:30.
HPA glow event is still on for tonight. Banks will be in the gym and they can go through the Elem front door.
Rain or shine, the Blackhawk Spirit Glow Event will still be held Friday, April 29. If the weather doesn't cooperate, the events will be moved indoors to the elementary gym, library, and commons area.
The 64th Annual Top 5% Banquet was held last night by the Sioux City Downtown Kiwanis Club. Hinton’s top 5% seniors: Bella Badar, Katie Heimgartner and Hailey Rosenbaum were recognized and honored. Congratulations to the students and their parents and thank you to the Kiwanis.
MS Track meet today April 25 has been postponed to Tuesday, April 26.

It was an exciting Friday for 4th grade - they started exploring instruments for 5th grade band! All 4th grade families are invited to Band Information Night on Thursday, April 28 at 6:30pm in the band room, where Ms. Weyhrich and Midbell Music will share information on how to get started with band and how to get an instrument.

Final days to register ahead-of-time for the Blackhawk Spirit Glow Run. First 100 registered participants receive an event bag FULL of great prizes. Don't worry if you forget; you can register at the door.
Prom Itinerary:
4:30 - Students arrive at school to line up
5:00 - Grand March in the h.s. gym
6:00-6:30 - Students arrive at Tucker Hill
6:45 - Dinner is served with dance to follow
11:00 - Prom dance ends, doors open for After Prom
12:15 AM - Doors close for After Prom
There are only a few give-away bags full of great prizes left for the first 100 registered runners for the Blackhawk Spirit Glow Run on Friday, April 29. If you want to make sure you get all the goodies, get your registration in before April 22. There WILL be extra glow products for late registered participants.
