On Monday, January 17, Isabella Kimbell, Will Schindler, Ayden Soroka, Tessa Trierweiler, Caden Turner, Camron Turner participated in the NW Iowa High School Honor Choir at Dordt University under the direction of Dr. Barron Breland. Over 180 students from 29 schools in the area participated in the event. Congratulations to these Hinton Blackhawk Musicians!

The Hinton Jazz Band attended their first contest of the season last Thursday in Fort Dodge. They had a great performance, and Ian Hertenstein was selected as an outstanding soloist for his trombone playing in "A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square."
