Reminder! Youth volleyball camp is this week, August 6 and 7. Sixth through eighth grade will go from 10:00-12:00, and third through fifth will go from 1:00-3:00. This will take place in the elementary gym.
Also, there will be a player/parent meeting on August 7 at 6:00 in the high school library for all high school volleyball players. We will discuss expectations, schedules, official rule changes, and Bound registration.
On August 2nd, Addison and Mya Kovarna were selected to represent Iowa FCCLA. They accepted the Robert and Billie Ray Character Counts Student Organization of the Year on behalf of the state association. Congratulations to Addison and Mya and Iowa FCCLA!

Thank you to Doctor Holton's office for designating a time for Hinton 7-12 students to get their sports physicals on August 7th, from 11:30-2:00. Please note that there's a $35 charge to Holton Chiropractic and that the physicals will be done at Holton Chiropractic.
Come on out to the Plymouth County Fair today and support all of the local organizations selling food, including the county FFA chapters. The Hinton FFA Chapter would be happy to serve you grilled cheese and milkshakes in the Pioneer Village.

At this time we need to still work out times, as well as what the cost will be for each student. Please remember that if your child wishes to participate in a fall sport, they must have an updated physical (within the last 12 months).
Information on times and cost will be shared once we have those details finalized. Thank you for your patience as we have had to make some changes!
