Last week, the Hinton FFA Horse Evaluation team traveled to Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, and received 5th Place Gold in the State contest! There were 34 high school teams (100+ individuals) competing for top ten honors. Isabell Hodgson placed 9th overall! The contest included placing halter and performance classes, giving oral reasons, tack identification, and a problem solving activity/general knowledge test. Thursday nights softball game against Sioux Rapids has been canceled due to a scheduling conflict.
As a result a C game has been added tomorrow night at Trinity. C will start at 3. JV/V to follow.
