As a result of West Sioux making the state soccer tournament Monday, the baseball and softball games have been canceled. The June 30th game against the Falcons will now be at home. Go Blackhawks!

Youth volleyball camp starts on Monday, June 1st until Wednesday, June 3rd! Girls going into 6th-8th grade will go from 10:00-12:00. Girls going into 3rd-5th grade will go from 1:00-3:00. Camp will be at the elementary gym.

The baseball games today have been pushed back to 1 and 3 at Sioux Central! Reminder tickets must be purchased via bound! Go Blackhawks!

Today, 9 members of the High School Choir travelled to Ames, Iowa to perform in the IHSMA Outstanding Performers Showcase. They were selected as the top 2% of performers in Iowa! Congrats!

The Hinton Fire Department and EMS are an important part of our community, and today our 4-6 Student Council had the opportunity to give back! As we wrap up the school year, students delivered snacks and drinks to help keep our emergency workers fueled and ready when our community needs them most.

What an incredible night of music! 🎶✨ Huge congratulations to our Jr. High and High School Band and Choir students on a spectacular concert. Junior High held its 4th Quarter Soaring Celebration this morning. 20 students who exemplify what it means to SOAR were recognized by their teachers and peers.

Students in grades 7-8 got to experience some outdoor learning at Hillview on Monday, May 4 for putting in such great effort in their ISASP tests! Students could fish, play disc golf, do a conservation project, go on a hike, build outdoor shelters, or geocache.

Congratulations to the Hinton Choir on receiving a Division I Superior and the Hinton Band on receiving a Division II Excellent rating at Large Group Contest this past weekend. Come see their performances tonight at 7pm in the high school gym for the 7-12 Band and Choir concert!

Congratulations to Caleb Bower who will continue his running career next year at Morningside University!

In case you missed it... JH track had their conference meet last night and the Blackhawks SOARED to a boys and girls championship! 11 individual and relay titles!

The 4-6 grade celebrated their final Buddy Party of the year with a K9 demonstration by the Plymouth Co. Sheriff's department. Students got to watch dogs perform apprehension and detection as well as ask questions.
