Last night we were able to honor these members at the National Honor Society Induction Ceremony. Special thank you to Mrs. Clausen, our National Honor Society Advisor, for the behind-the-scenes work.

Congratulations to Joey Gordon (trumpet), Faith Kennedy (Euphonium), and Chelsea Oelke (Clarinet) today as they represent Hinton in the Northwest Iowa Bandmasters Association Middle School Honor Band Festival! Hinton School's will be having our Veterans Day Program on Monday, November 11 at 2:00 PM.
This week, Hinton 7-12 had guest speaker Andre Fluellen from Sports World speak to our students about making positive choices and how our positive choices help create positive outcomes. Andre spent 8 years in the NFL, primarily with the Detroit Lions. Thank you, Andre, for encouraging our students to make positive choices in all areas of life!

Today, our 4th-6th student council members enjoyed spending their lunch and recess time engaging with our 2nd and 3rd grade students. This was a great opportunity for our students to connect in a fun way!
