Blackhawk 5th grade students enjoyed some time at the Sgt Floyd Riverboat, Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, Milwaukee Weiner House - thanks to John Eliades, Sioux City Art Museum, Sioux City Public Museum. We had a great day!

The 4-8 spring band and vocal concert will be held Monday, May 13 at 1:15 in the high school gym. Parents are welcome to attend. We plan to record the concert and post later. With many schedules to consider this is the best we could come up with. Thank you

4th graders visited the Plymouth Country Historical Museum on Monday to learn about quilt making, model trains, Native American history, and technology over the years. The kids agreed the best part was the root beer floats.

Several students recently represented the Hinton Blackhawk Music Department at the NW Iowa 5th-7th Grade Honor Choir in Sioux Center. Our students joined students from 38 schools to perform a wonderful set of music under the direction of conductors Brett Gregory and Lauren Fladland.
