First round football playoff tickets for Friday, Oct. 25th, are on sale now. Due to this being a state event, there will be NO CASH admission. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to purchase your tickets in advance prior to the game. Use the link https://www.iahsaa.org/tickets/ to purchase tickets. Click on "FOOTBALL", Select class "1A", scroll to find "FIRST ROUND FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS AT AHSTW, AVOCA'' and click “GET TICKETS”. Those who need to purchase with a debit/credit card must use the west gate by the baseball field as that is the only gate with a debit/credit card payment option. Purchasing in advance will speed up the process to enter the game quicker.

The Middle School Band had some students SOAR this weekend! Joey Gordon, Faith Kennedy, and Chelsea Oelke auditioned for and were selected to participate in the Northwest Iowa Junior High Honor Band on November 9th in Sioux Center. They will make up 3 of the 160+ students in two bands comprised of students from all over Northwest Iowa. Way to go girls! #WatchUsSoar

Senior football boys were the High 5 Friday greeters today. Several students went through both lines to get all the high 5s.
It is time for our annual food drive! Preschool-6th grade classrooms will be collecting non perishable food items from October 21-24. All donations will be given to Hinton families and a Plymouth County food bank. Please consider donating what you can!
