Today, our 4th–6th grade Student Council delivered the food drive donations to the Dwelling Food Pantry in Kingsley. Our students rolled up their sleeves to stock and organize the shelves — and did it with big smiles! Thank you to everyone who donated and helped make a difference for families in Hinton and our surrounding communities.

A few of our first year FFA members attended Greenhand Fire Up today at Northwestern College. This experience provides a chance for members to get a sneak peek of the opportunities that FFA holds, and allows them to
interact with other first year members, and with state and district officers. The officers presented workshops on authenticity, balancing priorities, communication, and FFA opportunities – in order to provide the first-year FFA members with skills they would use both within and outside of FFA.

6th grade TAG students got to learn about square units and make their own robots using square unit measurements. Even though there were just 3 different robot designs, the students used their creativity to make sure no two robots were alike! Their square unit learning will help them in their Model Home unit.
