The Hinton SkillsUSA chapter went to Des Moines on Friday to observe the Iowa SkillsUSA state skills competition and convention. They talked to a variety of vendors and companies. We watched a myriad of competitions in roofing, cabinetry, frame construction, electrical wiring, robotics, masonry and drafting. It was a very informative and fun day. We gained a wealth of information for our newly formed organization to build on in the future.
