Hinton CSD Shared Operations Director, Kyle Utech, and Hinton Superintendent, Ken Slater were in Pocahontas today for some training for completing the new lowa House File 2412 Requirements on radon, which includes all attendance centers for radon. This has to be implemented by July 1, 2027.

All State Music Festival 2022 was an amazing experience! 1st year All-Stater Ian Hertenstein-Bass 1 and 2nd year All-Stater Emily Bach- Trumpet 1 had a great weekend in Ames rehearsing and performing with hundreds of the finest musicians across the state. IPTV will broadcast the All-State Festival Concert on Thursday, November 24 at 7PM and on Sunday, December 4 at 1PM.

4th-6th grade December 5, TK-3rd December 13 and 7th-12th grade December 15. All concerts are at 7:00 p.m. and are at the High School gym.

Hinton CSD is honoring our veterans on Veteran's Day at 9:00 am in the elementary gym and 10:15 am in the high school gym this Friday, 11/11/22.
Looking for something to do this weekend? Come check out Hinton's production of "The Sound of Music" on Friday, Nov. 11 and Saturday, Nov. 12---both at 7PM. Over 30 students in grades 2-12 are a part of this amazing show. Tickets are available at the door for $8/adult and $5/students. Athletic passes are not accepted for the musical.
