The students in Plant Science have been making soil ribbons to evaluate soil texture. They have also been determining the approximate amounts of sand, silt, and clay in their soils and how this affects porosity and permeability.

The Hinton Music Department is hosting a Mattress Sale Fundraiser on Saturday, September 23 from 10AM-4PM in the HS Gym. In addition to name brand mattresses and adjustable frames, you can also browse our selection of sheet sets, comforters, bean bag chairs, massage products, pillows, and more! All proceeds from sales help the entire Hinton Music Department with upgrading of instruments, improving sound equipment, and providing our students with more music opportunities.
