We had a great turnout at our monthly FFA meeting this morning! We discussed membership dues, apparel orders, IAT leadership conferences in November, and Sioux Empire Livestock Judging in January. Students should make sure to attend our next meeting where we discuss Sub District, District, and State Contests! Meetings are every third Wednesday of the month at 8am in the Ag Room!

Great job by the chemistry students separating salt from a mixture. We looked at some of the crystals through a microscope. They also separated inks using a simple chromatography technique.

We sure do love our farmers! Not only do they provided with the food, fiber, and fuel we use every day, some of them are our teacher, coaches, and family! At our Feed the Farmer event on Thursday, we had the opportunity to show our appreciation for them by handing out 100 sack lunches. A few familiar faces stopped by to grab lunch! Thank you for your dedication to agriculture!
