There are two bands comprised of over 160 members from 44 participating schools. #WatchUsSOAR

Hinton School's will be having our Veterans Day Program on Monday, November 11 at 2:00 PM.
This week, Hinton 7-12 had guest speaker Andre Fluellen from Sports World speak to our students about making positive choices and how our positive choices help create positive outcomes. Andre spent 8 years in the NFL, primarily with the Detroit Lions. Thank you, Andre, for encouraging our students to make positive choices in all areas of life!

SOARING ALERT! Drew Keller placed 2nd out of 70 contestants at the John Deere/Agri-Vision Competition in Council Bluffs. Awesome job, Drew! Drew is part of the John Deere apprenticeship program as a high school senior with our local Agri-Vision of Le Mars.

Today, our 4th-6th student council members enjoyed spending their lunch and recess time engaging with our 2nd and 3rd grade students. This was a great opportunity for our students to connect in a fun way!

National Honor Society Induction Ceremony Tuesday, Nov 12 at 6:30 PM.
Hinton's Drama department will perform Tim Kelly's adaptation of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz on Saturday, November 23, at 7 PM and Sunday, November 24, at 2 PM. Tickets are $5 at the door.
Mrs. Cotter's 7th-grade language class worked on sorting Simple and Compound Sentences. The students had fun quizzing each other!
