It's a lot to ask of seniors to get up early on their last Friday, but these seniors showed up with smiles and High 5s! What a special way to wrap up their journey and encourage the next generation!

Tonight was the last 7-12 choir/band concert of the 2024-25 school year! Great work, Blackhawks, on a year of growth and wonderful music! Thank you to our first year at Hinton teachers, Ms. Pierce and Mr. Larson for their work in helping prepare our talented students! And one last special thank you to our seniors and all they have invested into the Hinton music department!

Today, the 4th–6th Grade Student Council had the opportunity to deliver snacks and drinks to the Hinton Fire Department.
We want to extend a big thank you to everyone who donated and helped make this special delivery possible. Your generosity helped show our local volunteers how much they’re appreciated by our community. Thank you!

Today students from our Junior High and High School volunteered to have a Service Day. During our day our students spent time cleaning and maintaining the school athletics complex, laying mulch at city hall, doing a clean up at the park, and working at Hillview. Thankful for the next generation of leaders here at Hinton JH/HS!

FYI - We had a fire alarm go off at the 4-12 building. The fire department came, and as they were en route, we discovered it was a false alarm. They also confirmed this. All is well. We appreciate the Hinton Fire and Police Department's prompt response.

The FCCLA Chapter will be hosting a Stuffed Animal Sleepover for students in grades Tk-3rd grade. All details can be found on the flyer below. Students will be bringing home flyers before the weekend.
