A few of our first year FFA members are attending Greenhand Fire Up at Northwestern College today! They are developing their leadership skills and learning about the opportunities FFA has to offer. The Greenhand Degree is the first degree FFA members can earn and is awarded to first year members who learn about the FFA history, mission, creed and emblem and make plans for an SAE.

Hinton FFA held their annual Feed the Farmer in early October. We are so appreciative of our farmers and recognize their job is not an easy one. We were able to package 100 sack lunches for our local farmers. Many thanks to our sponsors, including the Morningside Ag Ed Club, Fareway, Farm Credit Services, Iowa Corn, and Fireside Meat Market. Also, thank you Hinton CVA for hosting us!

A big THANK YOU to Chief Conway & Officer Johnson for visiting the 4th grade TAG students on Friday. The students had to solve a crime scene by going through evidence such as fingerprinting and footprints all relating back to Forensics. We are so lucky to have those two protecting our streets in Hinton!

🖤💛 THANK YOU! 💛🖤 The October 12th Bond 2023 Open House exceeded our expectations, drawing over 50 community members 👏🏻 who engaged in our presentation and tours. This level of community engagement is precisely what we aspire to achieve as we prioritize informing local voters about the District's needs. In case you missed it, we have decided to add another open house on Thursday, October 26! Watch for more details coming soon!
